Thanks to Instagram, renowned individuals can supply their fans and the basic public a carefully curated view into their personal and professional lives—a window that makes it possible for the rest of us mere mortals to reside vicariously via artfully filtered vignettes. The style designer Diane von Furstenberg has an Instagram feed that provides us snapshots of her downtown Manhattan offices, a vast glass and brick edifice overseen by architects WORKac. We don’t discover much about von Furstenberg from these shots, of course, but what we do see is fittingly stylish.
