Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors

<p>They say great things come in little packages, and this cool Manhattan apartment proves that to be accurate. Taking the loft design thought to new heights, Specht Harpman Architects developed this wonderful New York residence proper in their personal backyard, with numerous living levels let the homeowners live large in a small space, measuring just 425 sq. ft. The entire “micro living” concept is speedily gaining speed in densely populated cities like London and Tokyo, but nowhere is it done with such panache as appropriate here in New York City. Set atop a 6-storey developing, the compact home’;s soaring 25-ft. ceilings allowed for a variety of layers of rooms within the space, which accommodate the distinct functions essential for everyday living. Here’;s the tour of this modest but sweet urban property.</p><br/><img alt="manhattan micro loft with multi level interiors thumb Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " height="590" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/manhattan-micro-loft-with-multi-level-interiors-thumb.jpg" style="" title="Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " width="630" /><br/><img alt="manhattan micro loft with multi level interiors thumb Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " height="420" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/manhattan-micro-loft-with-multi-level-interiors-thumb_.jpg" style="" title="Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " width="630" /><br/><p>The architects undertook this renovation to bring function and style to an inadequate and uninspired layout. “As it existed, the arrangement was so awkward that there wasn’;t even a reasonable spot to find a bed or a couch,” according to Specht Harpman Architects. Post-renovation, the space now attributes 4 separate living platforms that give space for all the essentials. The levels are open to each other and the views, separated by measures with a lack of walls that lets natural light freely flow all through.</p><br/><img alt="manhattan micro loft with multi level interiors thumb Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " height="377" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/manhattan-micro-loft-with-multi-level-interiors-thumb__.jpg" style="" title="Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " width="630" /><br/><p>The entry and kitchen occupy the loft’;s lowest level. The kitchen region may be tiny, but its thoughtful layout and storage meet all its practical demands. Concealed appliances and flip-up high storage units are out of sight, out of mind when not in use, while the countertop wraps into the living region. The clean-faced cabinets leave it searching modern and minimalist.</p><br/><img alt="manhattan micro loft with multi level interiors thumb Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " height="418" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/manhattan-micro-loft-with-multi-level-interiors-thumb___.jpg" style="" title="Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " width="630" /><br/><img alt="manhattan micro loft with multi level interiors thumb Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " height="419" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/manhattan-micro-loft-with-multi-level-interiors-thumb____.jpg" style="" title="Manhattan Micro Loft With Multi Level Interiors home design " width="630" /><br/><p>A couple of methods up is the living region. Taking into account that this piece would be best for students or young households, Fanny chose to develop her piece out of price efficient laminate. Specifically “Sophisticated Oak with Naturelle” by Formica from their woods series. Aside from getting expense conscious, Formica is also durable, scratch, heat and water-resistant and needs minimal upkeep. Although Fanny chose a all-natural wood finish laminate, the style can effortlessly be recreated from any of the finishes available. This permits the design and style to be reinterpreted in any trendy or classic color, pattern or wood grain offered through Formica.<br/><img alt="multi function couch counter bed bed thumb Multi Function Couch Is Also Counter And Bed others " height="439" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/multi-function-couch-counter-bed-bed-thumb.jpg" style="" title="Multi Function Couch Is Also Counter And Bed others " width="630" /> When opened as a bed, Fanny’;s style has two little bedside compartments that are just massive enough to hold a cup of tea or glass of wine. If either spill, it will not matter, a simple wipe down is all that is necessary.<br/><img alt="multi function couch counter bed counter thumb Multi Function Couch Is Also Counter And Bed others " height="574" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/multi-function-couch-counter-bed-counter-thumb.jpg" style="" title="Multi Function Couch Is Also Counter And Bed others " width="630" /> The counter on the back of the couch is bar height and can be utilized either as a desk or a bar.
