Wooden Best-flared Home Addition

The first thing that strikes about this residence addition is its flared shape. Designed by Australian firm Mesh Design and style+ Projects, the developing is clad with wood planks that appear to be converging to a typical underground base. A flat roof cuts the planks abruptly at the prime, preventing them to flare even more towards the open sky. This new building creates further space for an open plan kitchen, dining space and living area, and completes the current creating which can be dedicated to the night location. The windows and doors are cut into the sloping facades. A complete cube is actually carved out producing a covered terrace that continues out in the garden with a wooden deck.
